Spirit in the Stick Scholarship
In his book, The Spirit in the Stick, Neil Duffy creates a narrative about an ancient lacrosse stick, creating a framework for anecdotes and thoughts from lacrosse leaders throughout history that serve to illustrate not only how captivating the sport of lacrosse can be, but also how it can be a correlative for life and a preparation for life.
This scholarship recognizes a graduating senior member of the CSH Boys Lacrosse program who best demonstrates “Respect for the Game.” Recipients receive $1000, mailed to the educational institution of his choice. Applications are due no later than April 10th of each year.

In the Game Scholarship
This scholarship provides registration fee scholarships to players who, without this financial assistance, would not be able to participate in the Chatfield boys’ spring lacrosse season program. In certain cases, the scholarship may also assist in providing basic equipment needed to participate through the CBLBC Equipment Loan program. All equipment loaned to a player is his responsibility to assure it is kept in good working order/repair throughout the season, and must be returned to CBLBC at the end of the season.
This scholarship is available to any CSH Boys Lacrosse player. The maximum amount awarded per family is $550 per year. Applications are due no later than four weeks prior to the school spring sport registration deadline.
